We are currently
considering litigation on behalf of our
appraiser-customers against infringing
parties who have copied portions, or
all, of appraisal reports submitted to
intended parties. We already have a
number of our customers who have
indicated their decision to pursue their
legal remedies, which could include
defendants that are banks, appraisal
services, computer servicing agencies
and others. Indications are that some of
these entities are using your work to
form data bases for their own profit.
They did this without your permission.
Copying of the appraiser opinions
contained in your reports goes directly
against your profitability. Loss of
appraisal revenue is loss of your
livelihood. We will pursue your legal
remedies! Our chief officer Tim Vining
had copyright infringement intrude on
his income. His court recovery is an
example of how you can force others to
